NEMO testing: David’s DNA on it’s way to Boston!

David’s pediatrician just swabbed his cheek, and now we’re sending his DNA to Boston to be NEMO tested…

We don’t have all the characteristics of NEMO, but we do have infections without elevated wbc, and also reduced sweating, which I’ve never thought of as being a symptom of anything…in fact, I’ve always thought of reduced sweating as a bonus in life. I hadn’t much thought of it as being connected to anything else…I think I did once, a few years ago, but didn’t spend too much time on it because I’ve always been thankfully not to get sweaty pits very often 🙂

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
