The Healing Power of the Budwig Diet :)

And email I wrote to a friend about the Budwig Diet–more than anything else I’ve read about it, I really so believe it has saved many lives.

Joe,

This is a great yahoo group for anyone you know with any kind of health problems, especially for cancer. Of all the things I’ve read on the internet, most I disregard (especially stuff about supplements–most supplements are over priced and overrated, and worse, many can hurt people),

but this diet really works wonders for people–

I really really hate the taste of cottage cheese (just thinking about it makes my stomach turn :(, so the next best thing to use is Greek yogurt–not regular yogurt, but Greek yogurt (it’s thicker than regular yogurt). Thats what I mix into all of my smoothies 🙂

This diet has really helped people with cancer, even stage 4 ‘inoperable’ cancer. It’s mostly a strict vegetarian diet, with two servings a day of cottage cheese/flax oil mixed together…which I use Greek yogurt 🙂

I skip the juicing part (juicing can also be dangerous too–it spikes people’s blood sugars super dramatically, so if someone must juice, sip it very slowly….Personally, I think we need the fiber, which is why blending is the way to go 🙂 fresh soups and smoothies all day long! 🙂

(And I usually throw in some freshly ground flax seeds–into both the smoothies, and some of the soups too 🙂

This diet has really helped people turn around…cutting out all junk food, processed food, alcohol and tobacco can really turn the body into a healing factory. People can bounce back from almost everything, if you eat the right tools–

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
