Security at the N.I.H.: even stricter than the airport!

I don’t know what they’re doing around here, but this is definitely the strictest security I’ve ever been through!

It’s very exciting to finally be here. David checks in at 7am EST–not too many hours away!

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever.
