Now I feel kinda bad I slammed my father in my previous post a little bit. I’m glad he doesn’t know this blog even exists!
My severe headache actually worked in my favor a little bit, because I was still up when my father called back and wanted to talk…I think he just needed a minute to digest the magnitude of what this study could do for us (after 65 years, he might have an answer to his suffering?). Even if it all end up to be nothing (which it won’t :), I think he really liked that Dr. Hanson is willing to listen to him…he’s so frustrated with years of being blown off, he really liked the idea that Dr. Hanson is going to listen.
I was nudging him to fax his records over to Dr. Hanson now, since I’m going to see him tomorrow so we can follow up about it. ‘Strike when the iron is hot!’, I told him, which is true. ๐
It’s amazing the effect a great doctor can have on an entire family. So lucky to have found him.

Hey Paw,
I’m glad you’re hanging in there ๐
This is Dr. Hanson’s info. He’e super laid back and cool. I was really touched when he offered to talk with your doctors about culturing the pus around your tumor. He’s a great guy. If you fax him whatever you have, I’ll make sure he looks it over tomorrow when I see him. (It doesn’t have to be organized. What I gave him wasn’t organized either ๐ He’s very down to earth too.

I’m going to try and get some sleep…I’ve had the worst headache of my life the last few hours. It’s so bad, I can’t sleep!
Love,
