That’s a wrap at the N.I.H…for the moment :)

So our first visit at the N.I.H. is finished. There was so much discussed and I leaned about so many different things, it’s going to take a few days to absorb everything.

Overall, I definitely feel like our case is in good hands and thankfully the future looks bright for NEMO research.

In the meantime, it’s basically back to the same protocol. Antibiotics, IVIG, and sticking with doctors who know our case, so they feel comfortable stepping out of the box when necessary!

I’m so super grateful to Dr. Hanson–here’s to solving the problem and finding the cure! 🙂

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
