My sister is being cool about giving blood

I had a nice long chat with my sister last night, and I’m happy she’s being cool about giving some blood to the N.I.H. for David’s study.

The more blood they have from family members, they more likely they’re going to be able to help him one day in the future.

I’m glad she’s being understanding about that…David is going to suffer a lot in the future if we don’t solve this.

I spoke with my sister, and she’s totally cool with giving you some blood for David’s study.

Since she’s a nurse, she can probably just have a friend pull a few tubes for her, and then ship it. That might be easiest.

Either way, she’ll contact you this week to touch base. We used to think that maybe we weren’t full sisters (some drama in our past :), and I jokingly told her this will resolve that once and for all…though I do think we’re full sisters. Just two sisters who don’t look anything alike.

I’ll contact April about getting the blood kit and paperwork out to me with the instructions for shipping from Canada for my father. That’s probably going to have to be sent to me early next week.

Thanks again for everything–

Warmly,
Teddy
