Vivid dream about a little girl

I attached an email I just sent to my doctor, about a dream I had last night…it’s probably just a way my subconscious mind is trying to process the magnitude of everything that we’re going through right now.

Unless it’s a relatively new mutation, it must go back into our family tree somewhere…

Subject: Talk about weird dream

I had a vivid dream last night of a little girl dressed in 19th century clothing, who was trapped in a basement of a house. She was playing around in it.

Then I realized she was a ghost of a relative of mine who had died of the same disorder, and I thought to myself ‘I have to figure out what we have for her–‘

Talk about total weirdness….

I’m not 100% convinced this is NEMO…if it is that mutation, then they’re going to need to change the definition of NEMO, or expand its scope. Dr. Hanson said ‘NEMO syndrome’, maybe that’s what he’s going for, though I do think we’re closer to SCID…in fact, I asked the CHOP researcher if our ADA can be checked…(maybe it’s been checked?)

The girl in the dream was totally haunting. She would stare up at me, go back to playing, then stare up at me again…

Life before there were antibiotics….

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
