Omg. Someone was able to draw back on my port.

I can’t believe it.

No one has gotten blood out of the port in my chest since right after I had it put in, about a year and a half ago.

Maybe it’s all the Grape Seed Oil smoothies I’ve been drinking lately? (They’ve thinned by blood?) Or perhaps the big dose of heparain I got yesterday when I was still at Cedars…that might have more to do with it–

This is so exciting..my port is still not flowing perfectly (it’s wide open and there’s still a lot of resistance), but I can’t believe they were able to draw back on it.

It must be a sign that my blood is suddenly super thin, or a sign that I should just never give up hope. No matter what–never give up–

Because things can alway turn around…even when we least expect it, things can get better– 🙂

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
