David went to Michigan with his father over the Christmas holidays, and when he returned I was horrified that he wasn’t given his antibiotics–I immediately put him back on his antibiotics, but unfortunately it was too late now he has another sinus infection…

I’ll never understand why people let their ignorance ignore what’s doing best for themselves, their spouses, and especially their children.

People have these irrational fears about western medicine sometimes “antibiotics are so bad for you!!” or “CAT scans are going to kill you!!!”, where in truth it’s just trashy uneducated talk.

Yes, antibiotics aren’t just candy, but an infection can kill you. Yes, radiation from CT scans aren’t a walk in the park, but ignoring cancer in its earliest stages when it can be more easily cured is deadly (not to mention more expensive), then doing a CT scan.

I’m so frustrated because David should be on IVIG therapy…I know it will help him. I have no idea how many sinus infections he’s had over the years, because they’ve all blurred together at this point.

There are just too many to count.
