There is no way this is a ‘bad catch’…I wiped so many times thank god they weren’t charging me for wipes.

I’ve been struggling with this for awhile. My results got better on the IV Zosyn, and then about a week after being off of it, the strange smelling urine came back as well as the tightening feeling in my lower back.

My urine would smell like ammonia…I’ve never smelled anything like it. So gross.

I had a positive urine culture April 26, so I think this is something that I’ve been battling for awhile. My wcb is 6.6, which is high for me…

I’m on oral Flagyl, which seems to be helping so I asked to have the dose raised to 500mg 3xday, and oral minocycline, and a few days so far the urine smell is getting better, but I’m still having the lower back pain.

I did another urinalysis yesterday, so we’ll see if the results are improving or not with the increased oral Flagyl…

I think I’ve been battling this for awhile, which is why it’s being so difficult to deal with…
