I have C-Diff brewing…it totally sucks.

I just wrote an email to my doctor about my c-diff brewing…I attached a photograph of my bowel movement, but I decided to save the world of the web from the grossness of the photograph so I didn’t attach it at the bottom of this post.

It’s going to be a rough road over the next few weeks. Very rough.

(And of course I have no fever, and I’m sure my wcb is probably normal. It’s probably higher than normal for me, but I’m sure it’s still with the ‘normal’ range.)

Just one more example of my immune system not in action…

The one good thing about sick for this long, is that I’ve become familiar with the bumps along the way….

I really kind of fall into a cycle.. 1) I get an infection of some kind (this time, the toe. secondary lung issues). 2) I get a massive onslaught of antibiotics (and IVIG) to stabilize me, 3) then I battle of the complications of those drugs (c-diff, yeast, liver, etc), 4) and then finally, I reach some kind of equilibrium that allows me some kind of level of functioning.

Then I stop taking my antibiotics, and the cycle starts all over again.

This time, if I reach an equilibrium, I really need to find a naturopath or go back to see the nice Chinese doctor and really try to figure out a way to keep these bigger disasters at bay…I really need to do more to try and keep these bigger issues at bay.

I have to try something new, because one of these big ones is going to kill me one day…(hopefully not this one 🙂 )

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
