I did have a hat here in the hospital

I’m getting ready to leave the hospital, and I just realized I *did* have my hat here in the hospital with me!

I was so sick, I didn’t even notice. Because it wasn’t on my head, I thought I had left it at home…I was so out of it.

I always wear a hat in the hospital…it comforts me.

It’s just a testimony to the degree of bad straights I was in during this hospitalization–I didn’t even realize my hat was with me all along–

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
