My suffering to help others

It makes me feel good–beyond words–to think that maybe someone is benefitting from what I’ve learned through all of my suffering over the years–

Even if I can only help one person, it’s a good thing…takes a little weight off of my shoulders–

Not one person can save the world, but we can help the people who cross our paths–

Subject: Someone on Amazon wrote the nicest thing to me πŸ™‚

A few weeks ago, I wrote a response on Amazon to a woman who has a daughter with ovarian cancer–

(I mostly just shared my anti-cancer plan….Budwig diet, yoga, stuff like that πŸ™‚

After I wrote it, I didnt think of it anymore (its out in the internet universe :), so I was shocked to get an email that she responded…it’s just my nature to be kind–to help others in any way that I can–we can’t save everyone, but we can help some people. That’s the motto we live by in the D**** family πŸ™‚

Her note made me feel good though…I also had a long IM session over the weekend with my little sister’s teenage boyfriend, whose having a rough time, and he told me “you really should have your own tv show. helping young adults.”

Next lifetime, I told him….next lifetime πŸ™‚

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
