Brain MRI today

I had my brain MRI today. There is so much going on, I almost forgot about it.

Talking with the nurse putting in my IV ahead of time (and it took 3 different nurses and multiple sticks–ugh :(,

and I chatted with each of them about Canadian v American healthcare.

Their biggest pet peeve about Canadian healthcare is that people schedule MRIs and CTs and don’t show up, because it’s free they said there are people who have a bad habit of scheduling and not showing at all.

Interesting pet peeve–if only people in the U.S. could be lucky enough to have that problem one day.

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
