Wow. Flu sinus pressure so bad.

My flu sinus pressure is so bad, I’m still blowing my nose every few minutes. The inside of my left nostril hurts so bad, every I’m breathe it’s like needles inside my nose.

But I look healthy, of course. Totally normal and healthy. If you could see me and talk to me, you’d see me blowing my nose every five minutes, with nice yellow goop coming out.

But if you just look at me, I look like nothing is going on (and I don’t even need to do any blood work to know I don’t have an elevated WBC…I have to feel very VERY sick to have one let one).

And I can’t stop sneezing and coughing. But that comes along with the territory when you have the flu. 🙂

My son’s godfather once said I have “movie sickness”, like all the characters in the movies who are sick and dying but they look totally healthy and fine (ie, Ali McGraw in ‘Love Story’).

Movie sickness disease…that’s what I’m going to call it from now on…I have movie sickness disease. 🙂

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
