A physician marathon

I’m cramming in as many physician appointments that I can right now. I need letters, letters and letters, and records, records, and records. As many as I can get my hands on…

It’s difficult because I’m dealing with this health crisis right now on top of it. My blood pressure started to go back down a few days ago (did I post about that?), so I got a dose of Invanz on Monday, then I got another dose of Invanz on Tuesday,

then my blood pressure was checked on Wednesday in Dr. Kachru’s office (back to normal),

but then no dose on Wedneday because insurance won’t cover it.

Welcome back to the United States of America.

Now…I need to figure out why they denied the medication, and probably more likely,

I’m going to have to crash all the way to get an approval.

At this point,

I’ve started and stopped Vancomycin prematurely, and now Invanz prematurely,

at the rate I’m going there’s going to be some kind of really bad super bad bug I’ll be creating if I don’t get treated properly.

Frustrating.

Really scary times for me right now. Really scary…

Holding on the best I can…

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
