David getting his ultrasound :)

David got an ultrasound on his abdomen today. They’re checking his liver and spleen, because his bloodwork has been abnormal lately. (His wcb, red cell blood count, and mean platelet volume have been below normal.)

David was a real trooper through the entire thing. He chatted it up the entire time with the ultrasound technician, asking questions I’ve never even thought to ask, about sound waves, what pitch those sound waves have to be to get a picture, etc.

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
