Noah was very funny today at Dr. Pitchon’s…sometimes Noah was annoying ‘what did you come here for today–then stay on track!’
(I had a little weepy session at one point…I just boiled over in frustration being this sick right now…it’s like, I can’t believe I have such a serious infection right fucking now, I don’t need it…I’m under a lot of stress and this just isn’t a good time π.)
Noah said I needed to save the weeping for a therapist…I think that amused Dr. Pitchon a little (other times I think he was annoying Dr. Pitchon, though Dr. Pitchon has a good poker face so it was hard to tell…maybe Noah was just annoying me π
Anyhow, while we were walking out, Noah made this big declaration,
(I just posted this on Facebook π
Noah: I wish we knew the name of the bacteria that’s infecting Mommy’s lymph node in her mouth, because I want to look it up.
Dr. Pitchon: Actually, we do. It’s called act-blah-blah-blah-blah.
[The blah is me–I can’t remember the name of it for life of me π
Noah: Um….do you know how to spell that? There’s no way I’m going to remember that one.
It was very funny…he definitely thinks like a doctor/scientist though π
The plan is IV Meropenam with oral Penicillin G 4 times a day (yikes!!) I’m going to have to set lots of alarms…he said it’s extremely important I stay on top of this…for like, six months!!!!!! Ahhhππππ
Dr. Pitchon agreed with you it’s important that the radiologist compare my ultrasound report from last week with the one from feb 29–he said they were being lazy (and I agreed π I told him you were going to crack the whip on them…
Thanks again for everything…I really mean it.
Warmly,
Tara
