Conversation with David Noah about his GoFundMe page tonight

Noah said the wisest thing to me tonight, it almost made me cry…I was sort of apologizing for the gofundme page (he’s super private),

and he said, quietly, “I understand why you did it Mommy…you’re just trying to get the answer, because if something were to happen to you, you don’t want this to all fall on my back by myself…”

(He said it like he already knows his father won’t do anything after I’m gone.)

I was so shocked, I just sat there for a moment…then I said,

“Noah, I want you to know if something were to happen to me, I never *ever* want you to get discouraged, because they *will* find the answer in your lifetime. Never give up hope.”

He nodded…he understood.

Hope is really important, and I actually think it’s true…a few days ago I didn’t believe it anymore, but now I think I do again 😊.

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
