The weird skin disease name: Scleroderma

The picture of the hand in the description of the disease was exactly what I thought was happening to me–I even took a photograph of my hand when I was having those symptoms, but I felt like the photo looked too normal so I didn’t show it to you–

The elevated chance of eye disease comes from my maternal grandfather, who went blind for reasons doctors couldn’t figure out when he was in his 70s…if only I can hope to live to see 70 🙂

Gallstones is how we met, lol…damn Rocephin. That’s how I knew you were smart–when you told me back in November 2005 in the hospital that you thought my medications were causing my pain, and sure enough the pain subsided greatly when I stopped the Rocephin, but unfortunately didn’t go away completely until the gang thing came out two years later…

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
