Really good SVU about disabled people :)

There is a really good episode in season 11 of SVU, about a rapist who targets women with disabilities…

It centers around a beautiful woman who was a very successful opera singer before she got MS…

The episode touches on how hard it is for families caring for someone with disabilities, what a burden it is, how people who knew them in their old life usually don’t talk to them anymore, etc…I almost started crying at some points…

My old neurologist (who is an amazing doctor) used to say people didn’t come visit me in the hospital, because they were scared of their own mortality…it wasn’t anything I did, or could do about it, they just didn’t want to accept someone as young and healthy looking as I am could be so ill…

Thank you, for everything. My whole life and soul.

Love forever,

Tara

Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
