No word from Dr. Wong’s office

This is a note I just sent to Noah’s pediatrician. I’m not sure what to do, but I’m thinking we should just go somewhere else for his C2 gene testing.

I’m just coming up to breathe from this gland surgery…it’s been truly an awful recovery. I developed severe naueous a few days after the surgery, and it’s just now starting to subside, but it’s been so bad it’s kept me in bed for days. Right after the surgery, I ended up in the hospital for a few days for pain management, the entire things been miserable…

The pathology report said that I had chronic inflammation of my gland, but this time the cultures didn’t grow anything…doesn’t mean too much, considering how many antbiotics I’m on, but it’s still disappointing in a way…since my wcb is always normal, I really depend on cultures to help guide the direction of my care, it sucks they’re hard to get…

Anyhow…

I hope you’re doing better than I am 🙂

Love,
Tara 🙂

(The actual surgery was just above the white banner, just below my right jaw–it was the gland deep in there. The red bleeding I’m not sure where that came from, it actually happened a few days after the surgery. I think I slept on my tubing wrong on the hospital, lol…oh shit I do 🙂

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
