Random people who care

A very very long time ago, when the moon was bright and the days were long, I went to my alma mater to talk to Hollywood hopefuls about the mysteries of life in Los Angeles–

One of the people I met there–who I haven’t spoken to in years and years–just sent me a note on Facebook about a new website for people looking for help with rare disorders.

As much as times like these fill me with despair and sadness, moments like this touch my heart in unspeakable ways, reminding me that the world is full of good people, people who care, people who hope that I will get better–

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
