‘My medical list — Ten things: which one is false?

Everyone on Facebook is posting ‘ten things about me (that are completely superficial and insignificant), which one isn’t true?

So here, I’ll play a long in my own way with my imaginary friends 😜.

I’ve been diagnosed with all of the following medical problems EXCEPT:

1) Colon, uterine, nasal and gallbladder polyps
2) Cyclical Neutropenia
3) Swollen Sublingual lymph nodes
4) MS
5) Lupus
6) Pre-Cancerous uterine, cervical and Esophagus cells
7) CVID
8) Septicemia
9) Primary Immune Deficiency
10) Sleep Apnea

The correct answer?

Sleep Apnea.

Sleep Apnea is the only medical problem on my list that I don’t have. I could have easily made this list twenty medical diagnosis. I didn’t even list all of my infections, including my current (horrendous) neck infection.

So yes world, if sometimes I seem a little distant and removed, it’s probably because I am.

My life doesn’t function the same way as most people…I’m attached to medical care like a scuba diver is attached to an oxygen mask. (Except that I’m not having any fun.)

Every day I’m lucky to be alive, and it takes a small army of people who care about me to keep me alive.

I wake up every day just grateful to be alive.

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
