I walked to Rite Aid to pick up my prescription, when I was walking back I decided to walk and walk and walk… I basically just went south on Canon and walked down Charleville, then up and down the roads around here. I walked so much I had to stop because I thought I was gonna puke.
After we talked in the office today about what else I can do to fight this, when we couldn’t think of anything else, I came home defeated…then decided I couldn’t accept doing nothing..
It occurred to me to walk…and walk and walk…not easy because my back still hurts, but I decided this problem is way more important…
The last time I walked until I puked, was when I used to run Cross Country. I used to be a long distance runner…it’s probably one of the few things you don’t know about me, lol (have I ever mentioned it 🤔). I used to run multi Km races in Canada, and usually I placed in the top 25%..I actually have ribbons in some box, in one race I did pretty good. I just didn’t like it very much, lol. Running that long hurts the knees and you breathe so heavy you literally do puke.
(In Canada, by the end of the season, the races were almost always when there was snow on the ground, so we would wear sweats in the line up, then right before the gun was fired we’d rip them off, and the assistant coach would take them–then at the end of the race, we’d all want to jump in the snow to cool off but our couch wouldn’t let us.)
I do remember we always had to walk it off…whenever we were done running, we’d want to stop but he made us walk it off and I hated that too cuz I usually felt like my legs were about to give out from under me 🙄.)
But tonight…I relived that memory. Hard. I walked hard for two hours.
In fact, I decided I’m going to exercise like I haven’t exercised since I was a kid doing multiple sports. Because I got into theater in high school I never had time for sports in later childhood,
but I decided tonight I’m going to exercise like I haven’t exercised since I was cross country training…Maybe I should even start running again (?)
I think this is the only thing left to do that I haven’t tried to fight off this actino infection…
So in six months, if I’m not dead, I’ll be the hotttest 40 year old in Los Angeles, lol. 😜👍
I think this is the only thing left to do, besides change up my antibiotics, but at this point I need to change my antibiotics **and** exercise like a feign.
It’s obviously going to take more than antibiotics to get rid of this…the antibiotics right now are just buying me time.
I’m gonna find those cross country ribbons and show you…I had the worst crush on the boy who was the captain of the boys team, Robert Crawford. That’s probably why I was even doing it, lol, cuz god knows I didn’t like to run. My best friend at the time ran too, Christy…maybe she talked me into it. I don’t even remember why I joined, but I did it for 3 fall seasons, until basically I moved to the U.S.–
