Back in the doctors office today

Back in the doctor’s office today, making sure my lip is healing properly. It looks a little funny, like it’s kind of white near the inside of my mouth, so I want to make sure it’s not getting infected. I figure it’s best to be safe and have the doctor look at it. Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
