“We need to work on personal disciple”

When Noah got home from his appointment with you,

he made this defiant declaration,

“Mom, we need to work on personal discipline; I don’t want to waste Dr. Sherman’s time talking about the same thing over and over again. We know what we need to do, we just need to do it.”

I was shocked but couldn’t help but laugh a little,

“Dr. Sherman is behind our entire medical structure, the structure that keeps us alive; we can’t just pull medications out of thin air, we need prescriptions – I agree we should work on personal discipline (basically, become better patients 🤪), but keeping Dr. Sherman informed is an essential part of the infrastructure.”

Noah shook his head. He’s very worried he’s boring you.

“Noah, you’re not boring him, this is part of keeping us alive, so he knows what’s working and not working–”

But Noah seemed concerned; he didn’t want to upset you. I told him not to worry —

Noah’s right, we have to get that medicine and get on taking it…do our part…

It’s a group effort, keeping Noah and Tara in the planet…Dr. Sherman and Grampa Joe providing the infrastructure, and Noah and Tara proving the will power ❤️

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
