Thanking my home health nurse

I’ve long understood my case is unusual or strange,

basically a ‘pain in the a*** for most medical professionals;

they don’t get paid enough to take the leap of faith that being my nurse or doctor requires,

and I’m grateful deep in the core of my being for those who stick it through to help me, as probably their better judgement tells them they should leave me for someone else to tend to…

But the reality of my medical case is that there is no one doctor or nurse who is truly quality to help me, we become qualified over time, through observation fueled by patience;

If it wasn’t for this small army on the foundation provided me by Grampa Joe I wouldn’t be breathing today to write this note,

And to my nurse and my doctors and Grampa Joe and to the random strangers who inspire the joys of life every day,

I say thank you ❤️

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
