My response to someone’s cynical comment about HBO moving their Fisher/Reynolds documentary…

Some people are just so bitter and cynical about everything…this person left a comment after the article saying HBO moved up the release date of the Carrie Fisher and her mother documentary so they could make money off of their death ‘and before someone else more famous died’ and this is what I wrote in response…

Don’t be so cynical–not everything in life is about making money, and in fact Hollywood is notoriously known for following its heart. HBO moved up the release date because they just *died* and HBO is in a unique position of being able to give them a beautiful tribute, a tribute that both Fisher and a Reynolds had been involved with and had given their blessing. Please don’t be so angry and bitter about everything in life…sometimes, people (and studio networks too), do things simply because it’s the right thing to do. Not always of course, but more often then the public realizes.

About hopeforanswers

Some kind of rare immune deficiency, yet to be determined. A lifetime of infections without an elevated white cell blood or fever. Very grateful to be alive, very thankful for the friends who’ve supported me and for access to literally millions of dollars worth of medical care. I’m not the bubble child, I’m somewhere in between.
